Western Threads - founded in Austin, Texas by Jacob Lewis who was inspired in equal parts by cult songwriters (Lou Reed, Serge Gainsbourg), country music (Lee Hazlewood, Gram Parsons), and noisy indie rock (The Vaselines, Yo La Tengo). - "Cowboys In Montmartre," the band's debut LP, was released in 2021. - https://westernthreadsmusic.com/

The Presidents - crucial world rhythms - "Music with a message... There are no superficial, empty lyrics present in anything this band creates... Much of their music identifies with their own Filipino roots, but it also deals with the roots of other struggling transplanted cultures... awareness and good intentions are aspects that make their music so full of substance..." -Lori Weeks, The Scene Magazine.
